Okay, so we’re getting our checklist ready for Thanksgiving morning. Top items? Big Bird in the oven sending that cherished aroma wafting through the house; The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade followed by a little football; mom running around like a maniac trying to make sure everything is perfect; and oh, what the heck, let’s throw some mimosas into the mix!
Actually, scratch that last one. Don’t worry, we still have a breakfast cocktail in mind, just one that fits with the flavor profile of the holiday.
Bourbon and apple cider are a classic pair. For a little bit of bubbles we added pumpkin beer! Make this cocktail look extra pretty with fresh strawberry slices and a few pomegranate seeds.
- 1 ounce of Buffalo Trace Bourbon
- 2 ounces of apple cider
- 2 ounces pumpkin beer
- Pomegranate seeds
- Strawberry slices
- Shake bourbon and cider over ice.
- Pour into a flute glass
- Top with pumpkin beer.
- Garnish with pomegranate and strawberries.
